Dr. Kristi Snuggs became President of Child Care Services Association (CCSA) on November 1, 2022. Prior to this role, Dr. Snuggs was the Deputy Director of the NC Division of Child Development and Early Education (DCDEE). In this role, she has worked with CCSA, the NC Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) Council, TEACH, WAGE$ and AWARD$. She has also worked at the national level on the Preschool Development Grant for North Carolina. Dr. Snuggs has a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from East Carolina University, as well as a master’s in Child and Family Development from Appalachian State University, where she also obtained her bachelor’s degree.
