For Child Care Providers

Whether you’re an established child care provider or just getting started, CCR&R can help with the training, technical assistance and resources you need.

Work

We help child care providers by supporting quality improvement and accreditation programs, creating financial incentives for education, partnering with higher education and advocating for higher compensation.

Throughout the year, local CCR&Rs offer training opportunities that cover topics approved and required by the North Carolina Division of Child Development and Early Education (DCDEE).

In addition, North Carolina’s three CCR&R Council Management Agencies (Child Care Resources Inc., Child Care Services Association and Southwestern Child Development Commission) have received the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) approval to offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

Training and/or CEUs provided by CCR&Rs are typically open to all and are delivered at your local CCR&R agency or at a community site.

Looking for trainings related to our Special Projects? In addition to overseeing the delivery of core CCR&R services, the CCR&R Council manages four special projects to expand and enhance the quality of child care statewide.
